About Castleblack.
In 2014, Castleblack was founded to create a healthy alternative to the opioid crisis by utilizing the benefits of nature’s own, cannabis.
Having researched the industry for years, our teams searched globally for a base where cannabis was a way of life, with affordable production costs, quality and skilled growing staff, and willing Government support for a large scale commercial plant.
Castleblack proudly planted our seeds in Jamaica. We toured the island extensively before choosing Port Maria as the ideal location for Castleblack Cannabis, our cannabis cultivation farm, and production laboratory.
We use a combination of local Jamaican and Canadian cultivars, who employ well researched farming practices to create consistent, medical grade, and organic product lines that are consisting with the highest quality possible.
